- Former Workshop -
Yoko Ogawa's works have arrived.
Yoko Ogawa
*Born in Hyogo Prefecture
*Established in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture in 2002
*Relocated to Sefuri Town, Saga Prefecture in 2007 -Opening the former workshop
Attracted by the vibrant painting of Arita pottery, she moved to Saga. While studying the art of pottery in Arita, she became fascinated with the potter's wheel. She aimed to become a potter specializing in teapots, which require time and effort. In 2007, she opened the former workshop in Sefuri Town.
Ogawa's goal is to create "teapots that are easy to use, have added value, and enrich the soul."
She drills numerous holes to "prevent tea leaves from clogging," an astonishing 300-400 holes in total.
Since teapots are used every day at home, she wants them to fit seamlessly into everyday life.
In the midst of busy daily life,
"I want people to have even five minutes to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. What if there was a teapot and teacup that was easy to use and could make delicious tea?"
We create our products with this thought in mind.
A few years ago, we started holding wildflower arranging classes in the studio gallery, which has allowed us to see the abundant nature surrounding our studio more clearly. Our flower vases, which are hand-formed one by one, are also popular, as we want people to make flower arranging a part of their daily lives.
Please come and take a look at our products.
We look forward to your visit.
